Jericho Friends History

In 1818 at the New Garden Monthly Meeting, the meeting recognized the Friends at the settlement on the White River requesting to hold their own meeting for worship.

In 1822 our meeting then came under the Cherry Grove Monthly Meeting.

Many of the members of our meeting were also active in the New Garden Quarterly Meeting.  Here are pages from 1823 and 1824.

In 1824 our meeting then came under the White River Monthly Meeting (This was renamed in the early part of the 1900's as Jericho Monthly Meeting).
